Instant PreviewClick the preview button that appears on a link
Hover over a link, then click the small button that appears.
For Chrome 140.0.7289.0 or later

Watch the preview button appear on a link and open it in the side panel.
- Rest the pointer on a link for a moment. A small Instant Preview button appears.
- Click the button. The linked page opens in the side panel beside your page.
- Rest the pointer on another link and click its button to switch the preview.
Turn it on
- Right-click the Instant Preview icon in Chrome’s toolbar or Extensions menu and choose Options.
- Choose Popover Click as the trigger.
- Click Save.
